The Vision Miner 22IDEX V4 is an open-platform industrial FFF 3D printer capable of printing PEEK, ULTEM™, PEKK, PPSU, and advanced composites — the same materials used in aerospace, defense, medical, and energy applications. Unlike enterprise systems costing $40,000 – $150,000+, the 22IDEX V4 starts at $14,900 with no proprietary material fees, no license costs, and full open-source firmware.

TRUE IDEX DUAL INDEPENDENT EXTRUSION

Both hotends operate fully independently at 500°C — this is not a shared-gantry dual extrusion system. True IDEX enables:

  • Multi-material printing (e.g. PEEK body + soluble supports)
  • Duplication Mode — print two identical parts simultaneously
  • Mirror Mode — print mirrored part pairs at the same time
  • Mixed nozzle sizes on both extruders simultaneously

ONE-BUTTON AUTOMATED CALIBRATION

  • Single button launches full calibration sequence
  • Automated XY toolhead alignment via CNC-style probe — no alignment prints needed
  • Triple Z-motor mechanical bed leveling — bed physically aligns to the nozzle plane
